Fabi Marra
Founder and Instructor
Fabi Marra, the founder of Sway Dance & Art Studio, is an accomplished belly dancer from Brazil with Lebanese and European roots. She began her journey in dance at a young age, training in various styles before dedicating herself to belly dancing. By 22, Fabi had opened her first dance school in Brazil, teaching classes and workshops with a focus on empowerment and self-expression.
Since moving to Canada in 2017, Fabi has performed extensively and, in 2024, established Sway Dance & Art School in London, Ontario. Her inclusive teaching philosophy fosters confidence and well-being, making her a source of inspiration for students worldwide.
Jeanine Moura
Financial and Social Media Manager
Jeanine Moura is the powerhouse behind the scenes at Sway Dance & Art Studio. As our Financial and Social Media Manager, she ensures the studio runs smoothly while keeping our vibrant community connected and informed. Jeanine’s expertise in finance helps maintain the school’s operations, enabling us to focus on delivering exceptional classes and experiences.
Her creative flair shines through in managing our social media presence. Jeanine plays a pivotal role in making Sway a welcoming and thriving space for everyone.
Jesly Jacob
Bollywood Instructor
Jesly has been dancing since she was six years old, and once the music starts, she's impossible to stop. What began as a childhood passion turned into a lifelong love for rhythm, expression, and storytelling through movement. With Bollywood at the heart of her training, she has choreographed for events, stage performances, and competitions across India.
In class, Jesly brings high energy, joyful chaos, and plenty of Bollywood sparkle. Her goal is to turn every class into a mini celebration - where students forget their worries, move with confidence, express themselves freely, and leave feeling stronger, happier, and a little bit like the star of their own movie.
Kim Drew
Belly Dance Instructor
Kim began her belly dance journey in 2014 after watching a friend perform and instantly fell in love with the beautiful movements and the gorgeous outfits. What started as curiosity quickly turned into passion as she discovered how expressive, empowering, and beautiful belly dance truly is.
Through dance, Kim found a deep connection between body, mind, and soul. Performing became a natural next step, and belly dance is now an essential part of who she is - something she can't imagine life without.
